Engagement and Confidence

We want your young explorer to love math and be passionate about practicing. Passion and confidence at this young age will take them further than skills alone. Mobius Explorer sessions are focused on building engagement and confidence with fun activities, math at their level, and engaging tutors.

Mathematics Foundations

Our Explorer sessions work on the foundations of math to create both confidence and interest. We start with basic numeracy, counting, shapes, and patterns, and build towards addition, subtraction, and the core elements of geometry. Concepts are approached in multiple ways to build both confidence and a deeper understanding.

Explore Ahead of Grade

Many bright kids are able to explore ahead of grade at this age. The Mobius Method provides a unique curriculum for each child, so once foundations are mastered, kids can explore concepts ahead of grade with help at every step of the way.

What is a Session in Explorers?

In the Explorers program, we are focused on engagement and confidence. Guided by excellent tutors, each kid will learn math through a variety of math-powered activities and games. Each class will keep them engaged for 45 minutes, and will motivate them to complete around 100 math problems.

Detailed Results

Each week you will receive a detailed summary of your child’s progress, and any areas they are struggling with. Week over week, you’ll see their growth as a young mathematician.

We don’t require homework to be done between sessions. If students are interested, the Mobius practice area provides questions on topics they find challenging. Practice earns Mobius money, which can be spent on add-ons within math-powered activities for even more enjoyment.
